Terms of Service

Quotes and diagnosis
Diagnosis is free. We give you a price before any chargeable work begins, and we don't start until you've agreed to it. If we find something during the repair that changes the price, we stop and come back to you rather than carrying on.
No Fix, No Fee
If we can't complete the repair you asked us to do, you don't pay a repair fee. This covers the repair itself. Where a part has been ordered specifically for your device at your request, or where a third-party cost has already been incurred, we'll always make that clear before ordering.
Warranty
Repairs carry a 90-day warranty covering the work we carried out and any parts we fitted. It does not cover new accidental damage, liquid damage after the repair, or a different fault elsewhere in the device.
Liquid-damaged devices are repaired on a best-efforts basis. Corrosion can cause further faults later, so liquid damage work may carry reduced or no warranty — we'll tell you at the point of quoting.
Your data
Back up your device before bringing or posting it to us wherever you can. We take care to preserve data and will warn you if a repair puts it at risk, but we can't accept liability for data loss on a device that was already faulty.
Devices left with us
Please collect your device within 90 days of us telling you it's ready. After that we may not be able to keep storing it, and we'll contact you before doing anything with it.
Post-in repairs
Send devices tracked and insured — we can't be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit before they reach us. Return postage is quoted with the repair and sent tracked and insured.
Devices we buy
Valuations are an estimate based on what you've told us and are confirmed once we've seen the device. We only buy devices from their legal owner and may ask for proof of ownership.
Business services
IT support resourcing, asset disposal and data destruction work is covered by a separate written agreement setting out scope, rates and responsibilities. These website terms don't replace it.
